Before we get into this weeks tip of the week I would like you guys to know that the CSS course is nearly complete and you can find it here among other stuff. Also I have been super busy over @ Xolani Studios, so that has been taking up loads of my time but I am to the point where I can start to focus on iHeart PageLines a little more.
So you can expect to see more blog posts and tutorials coming your way. So sign up for my newsletter so you can stay up to date on all things PageLines, iHeart Courses, and Club Specials (Hint Hint).
Tip of the week.
This weeks tip of the week comes from a Platform 5 user who emailed me wanting to know if it was possible to animated things when they come into view that was not overly complicated and didn't require things like wow.js and animated.css. After explaining it to the user the best way to go I figured it might be something everyone could benefit from.
Platform 5 has 7 classes that will allow you to animate things on the page. They work in the same way animate.css does with the help of a special class called
You can currently choose from these classes. They are subtle yet effective ways to brings your page to life.
.pla-scale .pla-fade .pla-from-left .pla-from-right .pla-from-top .pla-from-bottom .pla-opacity
To get the animation to work you need to use
along with the one the classes above.
So where can I use them.
I have used these classes everywhere, within custom sections, html markup and just for fun I have used them in the new Impulse Slider for animating the text but the animations only work like 2 -3 rotations and then you will have to refresh the page but they did work.
Thanks for reading and be a pal and follow us on Facebook (hit the like button in the sidebar) I would really appreciate it.
