Tip of the week: Boxy SVG Editor

Published on by | Add Comment

Greetings everyone,

I hope everyone had a great holiday and took some time relax before heading back to work. And like always the break seems to come to an end very quickly ( well at least in my case).

Today's tip of the week is focused around SVG's and their growing popularity.

I know everyone doesn't have access to Illustrator, Sketch or Inkscape. But there is no need to worry there a suitable option and all that is required is Google Chrome and a extension that goes by the name of Boxy SVG.

The Chrome Extension

This light weight extension allows you to upload and download SVG from the browser with ease.

I played around with it for a bit and Boxy is super powerful with alot of editing tools. You can  do illustrations, icons, banners, mockups, charts, buttons and more.

So if you are looking to add SVG's into your designs check out Boxy SVG and I am sure you will be amazed.

That's it for this weeks tip of the week as always like us on Facebook and share till your fingers hurt.
